Cherilyn Tan

CEO / Founder

Fusing together her powerful experiences in business, networking, design thinking and marketing, Cherilyn founded Asia Law Network because she saw a need that was not being met. The venture is driven by her desire to connect businesses and locals across Asia with the verified, specialized legal help they need quickly, safely and efficiently. A serial entrepreneur and founder, Cherilyn envisions Asia Law Network as a service that creates a social impact. She is dedicated to creating a self-sustaining enterprise that will change the way people engage professional services across the world.

Adrian Mah

Strategic Alliances

Adrian spent five years marketing various beer brands in the Asia Pacific Breweries portfolio before sobering up and co-founding the live music venue, TAB. Intending to disrupt the heck out of the concert industry, he then co-founded StartMyGig, a fan-funded pre-payment platform for fans to bring their favourite bands to their cities. He now uses his powers for good, leveraging his extensive network to bring new partners and collaborators on board to work with Interstellar Group at changing the world. In his free time, Adrian enjoys milkshakes, Basketball, TED talks, Halo and astounding people with his comprehensive knowledge of useless movie and gaming trivia.

Freda Naw

Development Manager

Freda is currently working in Asia Law Network as Development Manager. She is responsible for developing and managing the web applications for Interstellar Group. She earned her Master Degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University. She brings over 7 years of experience in web development. She likes working with new technologies and taking on interesting problems. She loves helping others.

Felixander Loetama

Web Specialist

Felix is an Agile Web Specialist capable of managing technology projects from concept to completion. Felix has 8 years+ experiences notably in Digital Media platform during his career with SPH & NTUC. His passion with new technology lead him to join AsiaLawNetwork to explore the startup arena. He loves to travel and meet new people.

Ronna Ayson

Front-end Developer

Ronna can be appropriately described as an extremely curious individual. A self-proclaimed geek, she seeks to make social impact through a medium she knows well, the internet. Joining Asia Law Network as a Web Developer, she has been given the chance to pursue her passion for making elegant and functional things over the web. In her free time, she likes to bury her nose in an eclectic collection of books; play videogames, and watch musicals.

Fazil Bin Abdul Aziz Ba'ashim

Graphic Designer

Fazil is the Graphic Designer at Asia Law Network. He is hearing impaired and can communicate by using sign language, email, text or whatsapp. He is responsible for creating ideas and designs for Interstellar Group. He can be described as a meticulous individual. He earned his Diploma in Visual Communication from Nanyang Polytechnic. In his free time, he likes to play videogames and watch movies.

Ong Kheng Hian

Account Executive

Fresh out of National Service, Kheng Hian came aboard Asia Law Network in December 2014. He manages site profiles, assists the Tech and Design teams in making sure the site is functioning optimally and co-manages social media for the company. He enjoys creating fresh and highly shareable content for the company's Facebook and Twitter pages. In his free time, Kheng Hian loves nothing more than to lose himself in a good book... but only after losing numerous matches of Defense of The Ancients (DOTA).

Shashi Nathan

Vice Chairman, Criminal Practice Committee of the Law Society

Shashi is a Partner in the Criminal Litigation Practice in KhattarWong. He is widely regarded as one of Singapore's leading criminal defence lawyers. Shashi's expertise in white collar practice includes advising and defending institutions as well as individual clients on Singapore's regulatory and compliance framework. He is particularly familiar with the Securities and Futures Act and regularly advises clients on areas including: insider trading, market manipulation, tax fraud and the entire spectrum of legislation dealing with corporate malfeasance. In 2007, Shashi was cited in Who's Who Legal as one of Singapore's leading business crime lawyers. Shashi provides Asia Law Network with valuable insights into the legal industry and it's operations, as well as feedback on the company's business direction.

Tan Wee Liang

Associate Professor of Strategic Management, Singapore Management University
LLM, University of Cambridge

Professor Tan Wee Liang is an active advocate of entrepreneurship and business. He also sits on the board as the Chairman of the Singapore Association of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators Management Committee. As an entrepreneurship professor, he is well-versed in the technology and startup climate around the world. Professor Tan advises Asia Law Network on various business aspects and growth strategies in Asia and around the world.

Sunny Chan

Corporate Advisory and Angel Investor

Chan Han Tiong (known to his friends as "Sunny") was the Vice President of Site Services for TECH Semiconductor Singapore Pte Ltd, between the start-up from greenfield to a sub-micron wafer Fabrication plant for DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) from 1991 to 2004. He worked for Hewlett Packard Singapore for 14 years and was instrumental in starting HP's Far East Region. That region was the basic platform from which HP later developed the Regional Headquarters for HP Asia Pacific. He was an instrumental part of an important joint venture between China Hewlett Packard and Samsung Hewlett Packard for HP in the Far East Region.
